Landscaped Garden ,Kileens, CORK

Before & After Photos. The brief here was the clients have young children & wanted a level area of lawn for them to play. They also needed a Patio. The photos show the way that this garden evolved in the design that met with the clients brief in every aspect & also kept a low maintenance garden. The design divided the garden into strong pacific areas The first thing we did was droped the existing gound level ,Built a wall to divide the raised Shrub & Flower bed, clad the wall to match the patio. Built two patios with Indian Sandstone 'Camel Dust' Installed grill rain drains to remove the rain water as fast as it falls .Re-seeded the new lawns & planted the beds to compliment the garden and finally mulch the beds with a fine grade mulch. To tone down the strong metal fence we clad it with wire mesh and planted Parthenocissus henryana(Evergreen Virginia Creeper) As we did not want a hedge there but needed it evergreen to slow the wind through the fence. This will also have a low maintenance requirement
